Adam Newacheck is a Director/Producer who has worked on television shows such as WORKAHOLICS, ADAM DEVINE'S HOUSE PARTY and IDIOTSITTER. Adam's latest project is a feature film thriller, STRANGER IN THE WOODS, that releases worldwide on February 14, 2024. He has directed commercials for VERIZON, APPLE, MOUNTAIN DEW, CANN, BITGET, KIA, CARNIVAL CRUISE LINES and many others. With over a decade of directing experience, he's earned the opportunity to work with talent such as DENNIS QUAID, BEN STILLER, STEPHEN ROOT, DRAYMOND GREEN, KIRK COUSINS, ADAM DEVINE, BLAKE ANDERSON, TOPHER GRACE and JILLIAN BELL. Adam sets himself apart as a director with his interdisciplinary mindset to filmmaking. Upon graduation from film school, Adam began his career as an editor before becoming a camera operator, and over the last 20 years, he's broadened his skill set to DP, producer and writer.

The Newacheck Brothers
The year is 1999 and Kyle Newacheck is peering through a Sony TRV-103 camera to focus on his brother, Adam, who stands in Dirk rollerblades at the top of a twenty-five foot staircase on the Hayward Campus in Concord, CA. Adam shouts, “I can’t do it. It’s too far.” Kyle tells him, “Dude just go faster.” Adam goes for it, listening to his older brother’s direction and eats it. Kyle looks at Adam covered in road rash, “You wanna be a stuntman, right?!” And thus began the Illustrious filmmaking career of the Newacheck Brothers. From skate, backyard wrestling, and sketch comedy videos while growing up in Northern California to television, commercials and feature films in Hollywood.
After years of home videos together, Kyle forged the path to Los Angeles, where he graduated from L.A. Film School and became the youngest teacher at the school. Adam pursued an education at CSU Monterey Bay and became the lead student in the Film program. Armed with knowledge and powered by youth, Kyle and Adam reunited at what would now be considered “the Workaholics house” in 2008. Within a year Kyle and his Mail Order Comedy team (Blake Anderson, Adam Devine, and Anders Holm) had the Comedy Central hit TV show WORKAHOLICS. With Kyle at the helm, Adam began as a camera operator before being called up to direct four of the show’s seven seasons.
Kyle has directed over 73 episodes of television, and now serves as a producer of WHAT WE DO IN THE SHADOWS. He’s directed feature films such as GAME OVER, MAN and MURDER MYSTERY. Adam has directed 21 episodes of television and countless commercials for clients such as KIA, MOUNTAIN DEW, CARNIVAL CRUISE LINES, VERIZON, and CANN. He recently directed his first feature film STRANGER IN THE WOODS. The Newacheck Brothers continue to push each other creatively while sharpening their skill in every aspect of the filmmaking space. And let’s be real, Adam filmed Kyle playing Pickleball in slow motion just last week.
